Anybody handle/shoot/own one of these polymer CZs?
I'm pretty interested in getting one of these for a CCW and/or truck gun.
CZ-USA -> CZ P-07 Duty
They're 16+1 in 9mm, or 12+1 in 40SW. I'd probably choose the latter.

Rifles & Shotguns / Tikka T3 Lite

I just got a Tikka T3 Lite in .270Win. So far so good. These are made by Sako and get excellent reviews. Tikka guarantees MOA or better.
So far, my thoughts: Lots of plastic. The bottom metal, magazine, bolt release lever are all plastic. Not that I don't trust plastic in a firearm...
Makes it very lightweight.
Shooting review tomorrow.

This is a camo Benelli Super Black Eagle II 24in semi-auto 12ga shotgun, shoots up to 3.5in shells. Comes with the pictured B-Square rail mount. Realtree Advantage Timber camo.
$900 CASH FIRM, the only trade I'm considering is a lever .45-70 + cash (depending on trade offer).
Does not come with factory case or chokes. Currently installed is a #1 choke.

Up until now, I've just left my carry gun holstered on my desk or nightstand. I ordered one of these tonight:

It looks pretty nifty, and I'm a sucker for stuff Made in Texas!
Do yall use a safe for your carry gun/nightstand gun, or do you just leave it sitting out in the open? The Fas1 Safe I linked uses a mechanical Simplex lock. I was looking at the GunVault or StackOn safes, but read too many negative reviews for them.

The gun in question is a Sig P226 Combat, with plans for a nightstand gun. It may also become a USPSA gun... Or hell, a varmint gun!
Anyway, the Leupold Deltapoint is compatible with the P226 without modifying the slide. Unfortunately, the Trijicon RMR is not compatible unless I have the slide milled.
If I get the Deltapoint, I feel I would still need to add a flashlight, so that's another expense. I'm leaning towards a Viridian X5L light/laser to supplement the Deltapoint.
If I do not get the Deltapoint, I would probably get a Surefire light/laser.
What would yall do?

This is a top-of-the-line rod/reel combo. Everything is in excellent 100% working condition. Only minor scuffs on the reel; hardly any marks on the rod.
Shimano Stradic CI4 2500F reel - all composite.
H&H Fishing Rod HX4 #SJR843 - 7ft medium-heavy, listed for 1/4-1oz lures and 8-20lb test
H&H rods are handmade here in Houston.
Also comes with the Shimano Neoprene reel cover. This setup has been babied and freshwater-rinsed after every use.
$350 CASH. Located in Spring (NW Houston), willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet you. I might be interested in firearm trades valued at ~$400.

CHL - Concealed Handgun License / To trim or not to trim - Comp-Tac MTAC holster

Just picked up a Comp-Tac MTAC holster. I plan on carrying a 3in 1911 in it, and as you can see in the pic, there's a lot of extra leather on the bottom. I have other holsters for my larger 1911s, so this one would only be for the 3in. I can kinda feel the leather flap when I'm sitting.
To cut, or not to cut?
I would just lop it off straight across the bottom. And I was also thinking about snipping off the excess plastic on the bottom of the belt clips.

I've never seen one in person, but I see them for sale online. They always sell fast. The idea of a 1911-based pistol is nothing new, but I gotta admit I'm rather intrigued by the Combat Master.

Northwest Pawn on Kuykendahl, 1/4mi north of Cypresswood, has 40SW Shield for $450, and an XDs for $600.
They have a slight markup, but you gotta pay to play (and not wait)!
