Rifles & Shotguns / What are everyone's opinions on a Mossberg 500 or Maverick 88?

I had the maverick88 and wasn't too impressed, but that is what's to be expected from a $150 gun. I then upgraded to a NWTF Browning BPS with the 26" barrel, gun was completely duracoated and I LOVED IT! A roommates punk A** friend ended up swiping it from my room right around New Yr's of this yr. Definitely will be buying another, if I can find one decently priced.
