We have all the stores you want...we have a "Super Center WalMart"!!! Grocery stores, gas stations, pharmacies, Ace Hardware, a Lumber Yard and even a gun store!!

I'm from a little town out in East Texas that's about 30 minutes away from anything other than a Brookshire Brothers. Or B&B as they call it. Lol. I liked it until I wanted to eat out, go to movies, etc. Crockett Walmart was the closest actual store to me, Lufkin (which had all the good places to go) was about 30-40 minutes depending on how many drunks were on the highway that night. (My county was wet, while Lufkin is in Angelina County which isn't. So people would drive across the river and get beer, making that stretch of road dangerous as hell after about 8pm on weekends.)

Yeah I'm in Lorena now which is WAY better than being in Waco. A 10 minute ride into Waco or Hewitt and there's all the Waco area has to offer, which isn't much really. Stupid black hole. Lorena is a only a 3A school and the biggest things in town are a Brookshire Brothers and Ace Hardware, which happens to sell the pistol ammo I prefer. Lol.

I have TWO, only two, local gun shops I'll even walk into. Keith's Ace Hardware on Hewitt Drive I go to for ammo and they have a pretty sweet selection of Magpul and AR stuff. They sell all kinds of guns, holsters, mags, etc etc. But I will only talk to one counter guy. So if I don't see him I just grab my ammo or whatever and go.

The Keith's Ace Hardware in Lorena only carries a small selection of pistol ammo, plus 22 and 12 gauge target loads by the box. But oddly enough the only pistol ammo they carry is Speer Lawman, which is what I shoot. But the one on Hewitt Drive doesn't carry 9mm, 40, or 45 Speer Lawman. All kinds of other stuff, but not that. So it's like the Lorena store gets that stuff, while the Hewitt store gets EVERYTHING else.

First time I went into the Lorena one and noticed they sold the ammo I keep on hand, all the boxes were dusty. Now they have a fresh rotation going. Lol.

While on the topic, figured it mention the other shop I will go in. The Gun Cleaners in Waco is a pretty sweet place. They don't keep a big inventory yet because they are relatively new, but the people in there are always cool, will answer whatever questions you have without acting like you're wasting their time, and they do custom engraving and camo dipping. So they are going to be engraving my AR pretty soon (once I decide what I want permanently on the side of it. lol). And if I don't have to have something right now I'll order from them.

Oh yeah, they also do ultrasonic cleaning (kinda how they started

). Anyone have any experience with that?

I have a small one that is for jewelry that I use on my airbrush. Works great. Uses high frequency vibration to hammer the gunk

It isnt an hour. I am about 10 minutes from SGA down by the HGF Storefront and it only takes about 30 minutes to get there.

Oh and if you are walking down the rifle line look for Whiskey-Rocka-Roller and I working on his AR. We will be there about 9 am somewhere on the short end.
