Bug Out Drill

Tiger Valley does a Bug Out Drill once a year that sounds awesome!!!!  15 mile course with 30 challenges over rough and wooded terrain. Says bring long gun, pistol, and pack. Supposed to be a real world test of yourself and your gear.  That sounds all kinds of awesome. Anybody ever heard of these things?  Or anyone else want to come up and participate in it?  I think I'm going to sign up for it.

Well, there's always slinging on your pack and walking through downtown Houston in the middle of the night to get to your bug out vehicle. ;)

Lmao. Thankfully I don't live in a big city like that. Or am stupid enough to expect my bug out vehicle to still be there weeks later. :facepalm:

Oh, hey, you might be interested in this:  http://runforyourlives.com/locations/austin-tx/  They're coming to Austin.  It sounds fun (and very challenging) although some reviews said things can easily get out of hand.

I ran the Warrior Dash this past march and it was pretty cool, but it would be MUCH cooler if it included targets and live weapons! I can only imagine the liabilities involved though.
