No - worked the deal Fri, if I remember right - it just took until today to do the meet  :th_thicon_idea:

I paid for the Shield with those flashlights I sold. So, I can just keep the money from the Kahr

I have a WRB pocket holster I am using right now. And, I ordered a Desantis OWB leather belt holster. I will have it in 2 weeks. The gun is small enough that I needn't have to carry it IWB. I still cant wear a belt holster right now because I can't keep a belt that tigght. But I am getting better fast. The gun is over 1 pound lighter than my 92.

I am on a lot of various gun forums... I have noticed that the Kahr owners just are frothing at the gums about The Shield.

I had a Kahr PM9 until yesterday... I just sold it yesterday after getting my S&W Shield. I like the Shield better. However, the Kahr is a good gun too. I have not really said anything negative about it. It's just a matter of preference...

But damn... The Kahr fanatics just won't say - hey, I like the Kahr better. Some are just going out of there way with ridiculous examples and made up stuff, to some degree. Worst place is the Kahrtalk Forum, but I guess that is to be expected. But, I am seeing some of this other places to. A little here and a little there...

Damn, some of them are taking it personally.. It's like geeze, it's just another gun. Relax....

Anyone else seen any of this?

Reminds me of Todd Green's outrageous claims that the PX4 would fire only 300-500 rounds before jamming shut and requiring a mallet to fix.  Don't get me wrong, I love his stress-tests but years later (with the PX4 platform having proved itself as reliable as any other handgun), it sure seems like he had a serious axe to grind with Beretta.

Oh and...Kahrs are ugly as Hell.  They make me think of cheap Chinese toys.  :th_thicon_idea:

Seems Beretta is one of those things most people either LOVE or HATE. Lol.

I went to a gun shop and I asked to look at kahr pm9 the emp checked the weapon but then had to slam it on the counter a few times to get it to close all the way. I not longer wanted a kahr. I imagine it was assembled wrong or something but I cant see how a gun shop could display a POS like that without fixing it.

I plan to rent a Nano and Shield at Top Gun shooting range and do a side-by-side comparison.  Maybe next week or so.

Cool, let us know what you think.

As big of a Beretta fan as I am, I do not like the Nano when I hold it. I've seen a fair amount of complaints about it to. Some people have sent it back one or two times. And, here is tons of complaints at the Beretta Forum that there is still no accessories for it - but S&W got stuff out immediately (accessory wise) upon the Shield's release.

Honestly - while I admit I jumped on a Shield right when they came out - and took a chance on a new design. The Nano... I've seen enough to wait 6 more months IF I did want one (which i don't)
