I personally have a thing about powertools. I am scared to death I will cut off a finger or worse.

I never use them. If I can't cut something with a handsaw or hacksaw, I don't do it. And, I have amazed people with how I can get stuff in by hand with a screwdriver. Do not like drills either. I always seem to find a way to get around having to use a drill, even if I make a starter hole with a nail first...

Had someone slip off of a screw and hit my hand with the drill years ago. Thank god it had stopped spinning by the time it got me.

So, I have a powertool phobia (its not like I am scared to be near one - I just won't use one personally). And add spiders to the list as well

I get nervous thinking of sharks; I have since I was little. Lord knows what's really wandering around down there.

I hate needles too. Needles are horrible; I almost have to be held down for them still and I'm 6'3" for heaven's sake. Bleck.

My dad once accidentally drilled through his thumb. Came inside and had a beer before going to the emergency room...

I'm on allergy shots, they are the only thing that makes my life not constantly miserable. So needles don't really bother me.

I can't really think of any phobias, but I can think of lots of things that make me uncomfortable... semi-trucks (I always pass them as fast as possible, who knows how long the driver has been awake!) being in new social environments (I'm rather introverted) etc.

I am allergic to tree nuts, and they have put me in the hospital on a few occasions, so I tend to distrust deserts. Does that count?

I hate needles (but i got a tatoo...somehow they aren't the same kind of thing in my head), snakes, lizards and spiders. If I could get away with it, I'd shoot every snake lizard or spider that I crossed paths with

Green Beans. I dont even like being at the table when someone is eating them cant stand to be in the Kitchen when they are being cooked and will Gag if I try to eat one.

I also don't like getting on an elevator alone with very Pregnant Ladies. If I see one get on I will wait for the next elevator. I guess it is from watching to much TV.

I found one in my garage last week when I was vacuuming my car. Vacuumed that sucker up. He spun at hundreds of RPMs for a while. I dumped the bag-less canister out on my driveway. Sucker was still alive and started to walk away. Had to smoosh him.

Scorpions are Tough!!! We have alot of little ones around here, sting doesn't hurt much more than an ant bite. This is the time of year they find their way inside the house. Can't walk around bare footed! Put a pan of water out, they climb into it and drown!!!

I grew up in Louisiana. No scorpions there.

In fact, I lived in the middle of College Station for 10 years. Until I moved into my home at the edge of town, I didn't even know there were scorpions around here.

I've so far never found anything to have an irrational fear of. There are plenty of things I respect enough to be cautious with, but nothing I fear so far and I think that is rather amazing as I've had plenty of the kind of bad experiences that would generate phobias for many.

Riattta, green beans? Bet there is an interesting story behind that one.

Well, I have two. One normal and one not.

Normal - spiders. I'll flip out over a spider, like a little girl. Lmao

My NOT normal - midgets. I can't help it!!!!!!! I'm 6 foot 3 and 320 pounds, and a "little person" scares the $#!+ out of me. I don't know why, just always has.

forgot about unstable heights...shaky ladders, shaky buildings....but you put a video camera in my hand I'll climb on top of pretty much anything to get the shot.

Oh, and i love to fly, especially if i can tape it
