It's not that small. In the 3rd pic, it's next to a full-size Government 1911.

It's not that small. In the 3rd pic, it's next to a full-size Government 1911.

You need to go back to school, as that is NOT a fullsize government 1911...

seriously though, my buddies have told me these are pretty rare (like Ryan said) in the blued models. the stainless are even more rare and none of my friends have ever seen them with the gray grips. i'm gonna shoot it tomorrow morning. i hope it doesn't blow up haha

I have one of those that I bought at a gun show 10-15 years ago in the box for $75.  Shot it a few time and put it away in the safe.  Best as I can remember it shot fine. Looks just like yours.

need some glaser safties. When my mom was working E.R. a long time ago, she had someone come in who was shot with a glaser, said it was the WORST gunshot wound she had ever seen
